Upper School Katy, Weekly Announcements
School supplies, tryouts, and dress code, oh my! The school year is almost here! Lots and lots of information is included here. Read below about how and when to pick up your schedule, save time and money by joining the subscription for community school supplies. Get your PPE Exam before tryouts and more.

NOTE: The Weekly Announcements are published every Monday before noon. Announcements may be found in your Inbox, on the Aristoi website at the bottom of the homepage, and on the Aristoi-supported Facebook page. Please contact Marketing@aristoiclassical.org if you do not receive the Announcements in your Inbox.
August 11th
First Day of School

The Upper School day begins at 8:00 AM. Dismissal is at 3:15 PM.

August 6th, Community Supply Drop Off

Please drop off your Community Supplies anytime from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM in the Griffin Center.
Aristoi Booster Club (ABC) is partnering with Upper School families to provide community supplies on an as-needed basis. Instead of purchasing community supplies for each of your Upper School students, merely pay the subscription fee and ABC provides the supplies where and when they are needed. This new, optional program saves you time and money and helps the school throughout the year. The Community Supplies are included at the bottom of each grade-specific school supply list.

*Student School Supplies are not included.

REMINDER: Athletics Participation Requirements

Beginning August 1, 2022, Aristoi's new athletic policy includes Pre-Participation Exams. These exams must be completed prior to tryouts, practices, athletic competitions, and more.

Aristoi's School Board meets monthly at the Upper School Katy. Meetings are held at 5610 Morton Road, Building C, Room C1.

Aristoi Classical Academy is hosting the ACT on Saturday, Sept. 10, 2022. 

Interested students must register by August 5th at act.org. The cost for the ACT is $60. Aristoi students should use school code 443498.

Authorization to Administer Medication

A new Authorization to Administer Medication Form and/or Action Plan signed and dated by a physician is required at the beginning of every school year. A student requiring an emergency medication (ie EpiPen) for a medical condition is not allowed to attend school until the medication and form have been received and processed by Student Care. Parents may access and print Student Care forms here.
REMINDER: Immunization Requirements

Please review school immunization requirements to ensure your child is properly immunized for the 2022- 2023 school year. Note that required immunizations include the 7th grade immunization for Tdap and Meningococcal.

If immunizations are required for your student, you must turn in a copy of your student(s) shot record or a notarized Affidavit for Exemption of Immunizations to Student Care no later than August 11, 2022, the first day of school. Requests for an Exemption of Immunizations can be found here.

Before School Care Program

Aristoi's Katy and Cypress campuses begin Before School Care with drop-off Monday-Friday, on or after 6:45 AM. Parents are not allowed to drop their students off prior to 6:45 AM. View the flyer.

Weekly Fee: $30
Registration Fee: $35 per child. Not required if you are enrolled in the After School Program with YMCA and have already paid a $35 registration fee. Proof of enrollment with YMCA is required.

Adopt an Aristoi Upper School teacher or staff member and help ABC bless them during the school year! A full year of support covers one teacher or staff member for monthly appreciation events, quarterly lunches and breakfasts, and all the activities held during Teacher Appreciation Week.
