November 8, 2020
Dear Upper School Families,
Hopefully our first-ever round of Zoom Parent-Teacher Conferences last week went well and the technology cooperated for everyone.
Looking ahead to this week, we wanted to remind everyone that your children will need to bring bag lunches from home this week (November 9-13). Students will not have access to a microwave or refrigerator, so please plan accordingly. Also, it is important that food brought from home does not contain nuts of any kind. This is also a good week for your children to remember to bring water bottles every day.
Additionally, there is no school for students on Tuesday, November 10th. This is a faculty workday. These “workdays” are new this year and were announced in a September 28th message from our Head of School. Upper-schoolers will have asynchronous work to do for their classes, but it will not require them to Zoom into any classes.
Lastly, thank you to all who helped compile the “Faculty Survival Kits” we received last week from PACA. They were an unexpected, but greatly appreciated, surprise.
Have a wonderful week ahead,
Head of Upper School
