UPPER SCHOOL AT BEAVER
Dear 8th Grade Families,

A lot changes in students' lives as they move from Middle School to Upper School, and we are focused on providing you with the resources, information, and support you need every step of the way.

We have two upcoming opportunities for you to learn more about the Upper School.
FIRST UP AFTER SPRING BREAK
BVR26 WELCOME TO UPPER SCHOOL
FOR PARENTS/CAREGIVERS
Thursday, March 31
6:00 to 7:30 p.m.
In-person at Beaver

At this event, you'll hear from students, faculty, and staff about how the Upper School works and how it complements and furthers the work started in the Middle School. We'll talk about academics, student life, and college counseling.

Click here to let us know you're coming and to share any questions you have about the Upper School.
AND THEN THE FOLLOWING WEEK ...
ADMISSION REVISIT DAY
Tuesday, April 5 or
Wednesday, April 6
11:45 to 12:30 p.m.
In-person at Beaver

We invite parents and caregivers to attend the parent portion of our Admission Revisit Day this year. You'll hear from Head of School Kim Samson and have the opportunity to chat with Upper School students about their experience, specific projects, and life in 9th grade.

While you are welcome to attend whichever day works best for you, we do ask you click here to RSVP so we can plan accordingly.
We hope you'll join us at one or both events!

We of course also have some things planned for students. The week after Spring Break is BVR26 Week. Throughout that week, your 8th-grade student will receive emails from the Upper School to give them a peek into life as an US student—from the ten things they should know to the events and activities they can look forward to. Then, that Friday, April 1, we're hosting a special event for 8th-grade students, where they'll drop into 9th-grade classes, talk to current 9th-grade students, and get to know some US faculty and staff.

We're excited to start welcoming you to the Upper School!
