Exciting College Guidance Opportunity

Scholarship Gold's College Bound Essentials

On Thursday, October 30, at 6 pm, Elizabeth Hartley of Scholarship Gold will be at WCA to present the College Bound Essentials workshop to 9th and 10th grade families. 

This three-hour program will go over the nuts and bolts of the college application process. It includes information on how to find a student’s best-fit college, how to develop a stand-out resume, and when to take standardized tests. 

Purchased privately, College Bound Essentials costs up to $95. WCA is subsidizing the workshop for a cost of $20 per student, billed through FACTS. All students will receive a College Bound notebook which they can all use to track their test scores, awards, and other materials for applying to college.

Smile for the Camera

St. John Photography will take photos of all students and staff on Monday, October 20. Students do not need to wear WCA uniform but should dress appropriately.

Makeup photos for absent students will be taken on Friday, October 31.
