2022 NCORP Annual Meeting

Breakout Session:

Research Navigation Strategies: Connecting Patients and Providers to Clinical Trials

Thursday, August 25, 2022

1:35 – 2:35 pm EDT

The NCORP Annual Meeting will be held virtually from August 25-26, 2022. Audrianna Carrington, Moonshot Coordinator, will be a panelist in the breakout session titled, “Research Navigation Strategies: Connecting Patients and Providers to Clinical Trials.” The utilization of lay and/or clinical navigators to assist patients in their cancer journey has been integrated into many healthcare settings. This session will address the question of how the knowledge and skills of these individuals can be used to enhance the clinical trial process by assisting in specific clinical trials and/or connecting the patients to clinical research staff and investigators.

If you registered for the NCORP Annual Meeting, Zoom access was sent via email on Friday, August 19. Please continue to visit the meeting website for updated information.
