The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Office of Minority Health (OMH), announced their theme for the 2025 calendar year: Advancing Commitments to Eliminate Health Disparities. The article released provides resources, including policies and programs, that address health disparities across underserved communities. The article not only provides valuable resources but also outlines how to move forward with your commitment to health equity by focusing on the four Cs: consider, connect, collaborate, and contribute. NRG Annual Meeting

The NRG Winter Meeting took place in Phoenix, Arizona on January 16-18, 2025. UC-NCORP was well-represented at the meeting with several staff members in attendance!

Enijah Pace has officially joined the Cancer Control/CCDR team as the Data Coordinator! Enijah graduated with a BA from the University of North Carolina, Greensboro and holds a Masters in Community Engaged Medicine from Furman University. Prior to his new role, he gained valuable experience as an intern helping with Moonshot efforts. Welcome to the team, Enijah!
