Hello Upstream Recipients,

We hope that everyone is having a great week. We wanted to share some updates with you about reporting and the Community Capacity Building Fund and to also share about some upcoming events in the community.

Update on Reporting

We know many of you are eager to have the reporting templates, we are working to streamline the process and ensure it is as simple as possible. We will share the reporting summary including financial reporting, project reporting and impact reporting details with each of the Upstream recipients next week.

On November 22nd, Regional Council decided to continue including $1M annually in the Regional budget for the the Community Capacity Building (CCB).

The CCB is administered alongside the Upstream fund, and many of you are recipients of this funding. This does not affect current funding, and ensures that $1M of CCB funding continues in future years.

The Regional budget is shaped annually by staff and community input and approved through public meetings of Regional councils. The final budget is approved in a meeting, which will occur this year on December 13th. For more details, check the Regional calendar.
