Veterans Leadership Panel

Join us for a special edition of the Veterans Uptown Lunch on Wednesday, February 12th at Covenant Presbyterian Church 1000 East Morehead Street Charlotte, NC 28204 for a panel discussion on the Veteran transition experience and the role communites should play in the process. The four-person panel will offer a diversity of perspectives on the topic from a national view to personal accounts. VBH Ex. Director, Blake Bourne will moderate the discussion with retired Marine Corps Maj. Gen. MG Paul Kennedy , former Commander of the USMC Recruiting Command; Melissa Early, Enterprise Inclusion & Diversity Consultant, FVP, Truist ; retired Lt. Col. Michael Krueger , realtor, Helen Adams Realty; and Sylvia Bivins , Goodwill of the Southern Piedmont. It is certain to be a thought-provoking discussion and will hopefully leave everyone in the audience eager to play their part in supporting our fellow Veterans in transition. RSVP HERE

Captain's Program

The Veterans Bridge Home Captain’s program is a select and voluntary team of Veterans in the Carolinas who wish to continue to lead people toward a common mission. The common mission is continuing to be a community leader by assisting Veterans and their families through community engagement, career networking and Veteran services navigation. Fort Mill Lunch

The Fort Mill Veterans Lunch has been a stable in York County for three years. Come join us, enjoy fellowship and network. The Fort Mill Lunch is the third Thursday of every month at the Towne Tavern Fort Mill from 11:45 to 1:00pm.

This annual women's luncheon event provides our female veterans and family of veterans the opportunity to share experiences, connect, and engage. Join us for good food, good conversation and great company.
