Monmouth Students Publish

Mid-Atlantic Ocean Data Portal App for iOS, Android


A team of Monmouth University computer science students has created a mobile app version of the Mid-Atlantic Ocean Data Portal, giving users access to a sea of coastal and ocean maps wherever they may be. Meet the team, hear about their experience collaborating with MARCO, and get links to download the app from Google Play and the Apple App Store.

Monmouth Scientists Confirm New Invasive Species of Anemone in U.S. on New Jersey Beaches


Student and faculty researchers from Monmouth's Marine and Environmental Biology and Policy program have recorded the first confirmation of the anemone species Actinia equina, also known as the beadlet anemone, on North American shores.

NJCRC Hosts Coastal Flooding Technical Workshop


Over 120 participants gathered at Stevens Institute of Technology on March 19 for the NJCRC’s first Coastal Flooding Technical Workshop. The full-day event featured 31 insightful presentations by experts in the field about the latest strategies and technologies to address coastal flooding challenges.

The Monmouth University Climate Change Learning Collaborative, through the N.J.
