The Urban Wood Network Academy is partnering with the Arbor Day Foundation to host this event. We are committed to the safety and well-being of all conference attendees. To promote a safe environment at the Partners in Community Forestry Conference and partnering events including the Urban Wood Academy, Arbor Day has developed guidelines to prevent the possibility of spreading or contracting the COVID-19 virus.
This year, all in-person attendees are required to present either proof of full vaccination (two weeks since your final dose) or a negative COVID-19 test within 72 hours of first attendance at the conference. A photo ID matching the vaccination or negative test record is required upon registration check-in. In addition, we strongly encourage attendees to:
- Wear a mask or face covering at all times during the indoor sessions of the conference, and when using public transportation
- Consider wearing a mask or face covering in crowded outdoor settings
- Practice physical distancing
- Conduct self-wellness checks
- Use hand sanitizer stations
- Cover coughs and sneezes and wash your hands frequently
