Urge Senator Schumer to Ensure HCBS Funding!
The President had proposed $400 billion in new funding for Home and Community-Based Services, but both the Senate and the House are proposing less - and there may be no agreement at all!
Senate Majority Leader Charles Schumer is in the key position to make sure that the final agreement includes as much as possible for HCBS funding. Senator Schumer is New York’s senior Senator and it’s important that we reach out to his Office and the entire New York Congressional Delegation to advocate on behalf of the HCBS funding.
CP State has developed a one-click message and a phone script that advocates can use. Click here and take a moment to reach out to Senator Schumer, Senator Gillibrand and your House Representative.
Please share this campaign with staff, parents and other advocates. Link to www.cpstate.org/advocacy on your websites and social media!
