Urgent: Availity Not Currently Allowing Attachments!
Applicable to: Mercy Care Complete Care, Mercy Care Advantage, Mercy Care DD, Mercy Care ACC-RBHA, Mercy Care Long Term Care and Mercy Care DCS CHP
Dear Mercy Care Providers,
Mercy Care would like to notify providers that Availity is not currently allowing attachments to be uploaded with authorization requests, despite it appearing that attachments uploaded successfully. We are actively working with Availity to expedite a solution.
Temporary Process:
In the meantime, please fax all authorization requests along with the required clinical documentation directly to Mercy Care.

- Medical records for physical health inpatient hospitalizations, hospital census: 855-773-9287
- Face sheets for inpatient hospitalizations: 866-300-3926
- Medical records for behavioral health inpatient hospitalizations, hospital census, ACC-RBHA SMI behavioral health inpatient requests: 855-825-3165

Important Note:
This issue does not affect claim resubmission requests in Availity. You may continue to upload claims and attach clinical documentation as outlined in the Claims Processing Manual.
We will notify providers as soon as the authorization attachment functionality is restored.
