LSAW and NSPS are following the proposed changes to regulations implementing the Davis-Bacon Act, as proposed by the U.S. Department of Labor. These changes would include members of survey crews being classified as “laborers and mechanics” and thus subject to prevailing wage requirements on all Federally funded construction projects.
Members are encouraged to provide comments which must be filed by May 17, 2022
