NEWS BRIEF

El Camino College Business Training Center is Seeking a New California Employment Training Panel (ETP) Grant for the 2024 and 2025 Calendar Years!

If Your Business Plans to Provide Employee Training Utilizing El Camino College's ETP Training Program During these Calendar Years, Immediate Action is Needed to Reserve Your Spot for Funding!

Dear Industry Partner,

El Camino College is near the completion of its current training contract with the California Employment Training Panel (ETP), scheduled to end on December 30, 2023, or sooner once funds are exhausted. Thus, we will seek a new Regular Core funding contract to start in January 2024 or sooner, depending upon when ETP places the contract on the Panel’s agenda. ETP requires El Camino College to include new Certification Statements (CS) of all companies interested in employee training for the 2024 and 2025 calendar years. If your company plans on providing your employees training for 2024 and/or 2025 utilizing ETP funding through El Camino College to help offset these costs, please complete a new Certification Statement (CS), sign, scan, and email it back to me by Friday, August 25. Click here to download the blank form: Blank Form. For a completed sample form, click here: Sample Form. Please make note that the Certification Statement “is not” a contract but an application to participate in El Camino College’s ETP training program. Training courses available under this program are shown below.

When completing the CS, it is crucial that you show the number of employees to be trained over two years, 2024 and 2025. It is better to overestimate this number to ensure your company receives the maximum number of employee training hours under the program. When completing the CS, please ensure that you provide your company’s D-U-N-S Number and NAICS code. When determining your company’s turnover rate, please base it on the 2023 calendar year. This will be an estimate since we have not reached the end of 2023. Again, please sign, scan, and email the CS back to me by Friday, August 25. Should you have any questions about completing the CS or the program, please feel free to contact me.

Sincerely,
