Let’s Come Together:
Support Families Affected by SNAP Changes
Dear St. Andrew's Family,
This weekend, many local families will lose access to SNAP benefits that help put food on their tables. This sudden change will leave many wondering how they’ll afford their next meal. As a community rooted in love and service, we have an opportunity to step in and make a difference.
We’re calling on our church family to donate food and funds to help fill the gap.
Please sign up to bring non-perishable items to church on Sunday, and we will assemble grab-and-go bags for families in need after church.
Sign up to bring items here!
Additionally, our Hunger Supper is feeding more people than ever each week, with attendance surpassing 100 this past Tuesday. Monetary donations can be made to support the meal program through our website at: Hunger Supper Support
If SNAP benefits are reinstated, all food donations will go to our Hunger supper.
Even small acts of kindness — a few tins of tuna, a hot meal, or a simple prayer — can bring comfort and relief. Together, we can show that no one in our community stands alone. If you are in need of support accessing food, please reach out to me directly. And if you have other ideas of how we can help, let us know!
Thank you for responding with compassion and generosity.
Let’s come together to show Christ’s love in action. Thank you for caring for those in need — your generosity sustains hope in our community.
With gratitude,
Cyndi Jones
