Urgent Prayers for Camp Mokulēʻia & Flood Victims

We write to ask for your prayers during an urgent situation affecting our camp community.

In the early hours of this morning, the camp experienced significant flooding, with damage reported as far greater than last week's events. Power has been lost, and flooded roads have made evacuation impossible. Our dedicated staff are currently sheltering safely in the lodge, prepared to move to higher ground if needed. A blocked road in Waialua continues to complicate the situation.

We are in communication with those on the ground and will share updates as they become available.

In this moment, we ask you to hold our camp staff and all those affected in your prayers — for their safety, their courage, and God's guiding presence over the waters.

Merciful God, we pray for all those in harm's way. Grant them safety, comfort, and the assurance of your steadfast love. Calm the waters, and give wisdom to all who are working to help. Amen.
