Dear Friends,
I hope you are safe and warm after the catastrophic ice storm. While power is being restored across our region, many families are still without access to basic necessities. The need for food and supplies has never been more critical.
As you may know, the Manna Food Project has been working with local emergency shelters to provide food and water for those in need. However, due to the severity of the storm and the devastating losses that so many families are facing, we are asking for your help as our community rebuilds.
How You Can Help:
-
Monetary Donations: Financial contributions will allow us to purchase the most-needed food items and supplies quickly. No amount is too small, and every dollar helps.
-
Gas Cards: Many households are still relying on generators to keep their families warm at night. You can include an Urgent Needs designation to your monetary donation or you can provide gas cards directly to Manna for distribution.
-
Food Donations: Non-perishable items that do not require cooking are in high demand. Canned protein, peanut butter, jelly, cereals, and soups are all needed. You can drop off donations at our location at 8791 McBride Park Court, Harbor Springs, MI 49740.
-
Spread the Word: If you or someone you know needs support, please contact the Manna Food Project. So many people have lost so much, and Manna is here to help them get by. Help us make sure that our community knows we are here, we are open, and we are ready to serve.
We understand that these are challenging times for everyone, but we believe that together we can provide a lifeline for those who need it most. Your generosity will help ensure that families facing hunger during this ice storm receive the food and support they need to survive and recover.
Thank you for your kindness and unwavering support during this difficult time. Together, we can make a lasting difference.
Sincerely,
|
