As we publicly shared on Monday, the planning team for the CAHU Women’s Leadership Summit has been closely monitoring all official guidelines and advisories regarding risk, safe practices, and recommendations regarding COVID-19. Clearly, this has been a very eventful week and the situation has changed dramatically.
After careful consideration and consultation, we have made the difficult decision to reschedule this year’s WLS. This is not something we wanted to do, but we believe pushing the pause button at this time is the best way to honor the immense investment we and our partners have made in this event.
Once again, we care deeply about the health and wellbeing of all our participants, partners and speakers, as well as this platform. While we are disappointed
with the current reality that necessitates this reschedule and
that we won’t all be together in two weeks, we believe that the postponed summit will be even bigger and better with these extra months to enhance the experience and return on investment for all involved.
As such the 2020 CAHU Women’s Leadership Summit will now take place 8/5 – 8/7/2020, at the same location, the JW Marriott in Las Vegas. Further details will be made available promptly and we are hopeful that all current participants, and those who were recently forced to cancel, will be able to join us in August.
