Urgent and Important Message: NYC Schools Closed Temporarily, Moving to Fully Remote Learning Beginning TOMORROW - Thursday, November 19th
Shalom Harlem Hebrew Families,

Just this afternoon, Mayor De Blasio and his team announced a temporary school closure for all NYC schools to help stop the spread of COVID-19 and to ensure the safety of our students and staff. This means that beginning TOMORROW, Thurday, November 19th, we will move forward with fully remote teaching and learning. We hope to be able to return to in-person learning soon. This will depend on the status of COVID-19 and the guidance we receive from the NYC Mayor and NYS Governor's offices. Our students who are ALREADY fully remote are NOT impacted at all.

While I know this is disappointing news, please know that we have planned for this scenario. In fact, we already had planned to be fully remote from November 30th - December 4th, so we are ready and prepared for this unfortunate change. Again, because of Mayor De Blasio's announcement, there will be no students in the building tomorrow and all students will be engaging in fully remote learning.

Information about the schedule for your students and logistical information can be found below. Please reach out with any questions or concerns to your child's teacher or our Main Office at 212.866.4608.
