A Moment for Mission

Be joyous and always act out of charity, with faith and hope in God.

St. Angela Merici-Primitive Rule

A Note from the President

Hello!

Well, we are now at the end of the semester, with everyone focused on exams and then a long Christmas break. There is a great deal of Christmas cheer on display that hopefully balances out the stress of this week, if just a bit. The Bear Moms did an outstanding job of decking the halls and the Exam-O-Grams are always a welcomed treat! Thank you!

We’ve all also had a chance to see the artistic talents of many of our students on display this week., beginning with those who do music ministry at masses. This week was the Mass of the Immaculate Conception and they performed beautiful solos as well as a moving meditation with “Ave Maria” after communion. Beautiful.

This week has also included the dance recital and Christmas Concert. There is a lot of work - both from students and coworkers - that goes into making these events a true showcase of student talents. They make it look easy though and we all reap the benefits of their efforts! They make a very real contribution to the holiday season at UA.

As you are out and about during the Christmas break, I encourage you to take a drive by campus and take in the Christmas lights.

All my best to you this holiday season and look forward to all that 2026 will bring.

All proceeds go to The Ursuline Fund, which supports the highest needs of Ursuline Academy and helps offset the cost of educating an Ursuline student.

Each student is required to sell 10 (full priced) tickets by midnight - Sunday, January 18. If all four classes hit their goal, the whole school will earn a day off school on Monday, February 9! You can find all the details on our webpage.

Counseling

Final Exam Prep

As final exams approach stress levels increase, this is normal. However, how we respond to this stress is key. It is important for students to incorporate self-care strategies into their study routines. In addition, preparing for exams multiple nights in advance can help reduce final exam-related stress. We encourage students to start studying for exams 5 days before the exam. Listed below are exam preparation resources and tips for managing stress. If you have any questions, please contact your daughter's counselor.
