A Moment for Mission
Lord, make me an instrument of your peace. Where there is hatred, let me sow love; where there is injury, pardon; where there is doubt, faith; where there is despair, hope; where there is darkness, light; and where there is sadness, joy.
O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console; to be understood as to understand; to be loved as to love. For it is in giving that we receive; it is in pardoning that we are pardoned; and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.
Amen

Safety Update - Returning to School
This week two students have tested positive for Covid-19. Neither of these cases has been the result of contact or transmission while on campus. Be assured that if your daughter could potentially be impacted by another student who tests positive, you will be informed as soon as possible. A reminder that quarantine means that students are not allowed to come to school, it also means they should not have contact with others beyond their family outside of school. As we prepare to return to in-person learning, please review the safety protocols sent by Dr. Michalski on Friday morning. We are not only trying to protect Ursuline but trying to be a part of the community solution as well.
Online Trivia Teams (and players) are forming now!
Saturday, Feb. 6 7:00-9:00 p.m.
Theme: “Get Me Outta Here!”
Click Here to Register! $20 per player, up to 8 people on a team - family friendly! Don’t have a team, we’ll place you on one and get to know other parents. A few rounds of 5 questions, then you’ll head to breakout rooms to deliberate and submit your answers in a google form. All proceeds benefit student scholarships. Play from anywhere! Help us spread the word and invite your family, friends, neighbors to form a team with you! Each person must register individually to play and be eligible for prizes.
Spring Break Information for Athletes:
As of November 1, 2019, our policy for spring break is:
Practices taking place Friday after 5 pm until Wednesday’s practice time (after 3 pm) will be excused practices. If you miss any practices outside of those times during break you will be required to sit out for 1.5 games. Also, keep in mind you will need to have 14 practices before your first game to be eligible to play per MSHSAA rules.
Class of 2020 Yearbooks
If you did not pick up your copy of Oak Leaves during the yearbook distribution last month, copies are available in the main office.
Bear Den Operations
The brick-and-mortar Bear Den is not open to customers at this time.
For your convenience, (1) curbside pick-up at Ursuline, and (2) after-school student pick-up are available. Items may also be shipped via USPS Priority Mail.

Auction Information
The format is changing this year, but the virtual auction remains Ursuline’s largest fundraiser and we need support from all of our families to make it a success. You can make a difference today. Donate gift cards from your favorite local retailer or restaurant, buy an ad to promote your business, or become an auction sponsor. All are great ways to give back to our girls. Not certain what to donate? You can always purchase a great item off our wish list on Amazon! That’s right, just add to cart, check out and Amazon will take care of the rest.
Gentlemen, do not forget that the UA Father’s Club is taking donations for our Wheel of Whiskey. While only a few spots remain for the $30 bottles, we are still in need of bottles (750ml or 1.5L) valuing greater than $50. Please join those dads that have already donated today. Please have an adult drop off all donations to the front office by February 1st.
Also, don’t forget to contribute to your daughter’s class auction basket. Money is due by January 15th. Cash donations are tax-deductible and very much appreciated. Any questions, please contact your class basket representative:

Seniors
If a college you are applying to requires your 7th semester transcript, you need to submit a transcript request form to Mrs. Treese in the counseling office. The 7th Semester Transcript Form can be picked up in the counseling office. Please stop by and fill it out when we return to in-person classes. If you are a full-time distance learner, contact Mrs. Treese and she will send you an electronic version of the form. If you are unsure if your college requires a 7th semester transcript, please check with your counselor or Mrs. Treese.
