your items. This year, there are 7 different items available. Images of the items are not available on the link, but they are posted on the bulletin board outside of the Bear Den for you to look at. The 2 sweatshirts are uniform approved, and the shirts are T-shirt Tuesday approved. Sizes on most items are adult small through adult 2XL; one shirt fits more snug, so it's available in sizes adult small through adult 3XL.
The item numbers you see on the link correspond to the item numbers on the designs posted outside the Bear Den. That way, you know which item you're ordering.
You have until next Monday, January 14, at the end of the school day to get your orders in.
World Languages | Honor Societies Inductees
Tuesday, January 29
A number of students qualified for membership in the French, Hispanic, or Latin honor societies at Ursuline Academy this semester. These students demonstrated outstanding academic performance in the second-level honors language course. The initiation ceremony will be on Tuesday, January 29, 2019. The students will receive their certificates and pins on that day. Congratulations!

Father-Daughter Dinner Dance

Get your tables together and reserve your spot for a special evening with your daughter. Reservations for the annual Father-Daughter Dinner and Dance are due by Friday, January 18.

Junior Class Announcements
College Information Night
Wednesday, February 6, at 7:00 p.m. in the Dan Dailey Auditorium
- This essential meeting is for all juniors and their parents. During this meeting we will discuss pertinent information regarding the college search and application process, including a college planning timeline and features of the Naviance program. In addition, an admission representative from the University of Missouri-Columbia will be presenting on the college selection process.

Scholarship Award Letters
- Remember to keep copies of all scholarship award letters. The counseling department will collect this information in the spring.
Senior Capstone Project
- The Capstone Project Proposal Form is due January 30. This form asks you to name the characteristic of the Graduate Profile that you are emphasizing in your presentation as well as your creative method for delivery. If you have any questions, there will be a help session in the boardroom on Monday, January 14 during activity period.
Parent Volunteers Opportunities
UA UN Women Club News
Last month the UN Women Club sponsored an #Orangetheworld campaign to mark 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence. Led by Sophia Hilmes '19, the UN Women Club sold orange ribbon pins to spread awareness. The campaign generated $100 and was donated to Lydia's House - a St. Louis shelter that works in faith to end domestic violence by being a place of healing and a voice of hope for abused women and their children.
Beyond Sunday Financial Aid Program
Application and requalification instructions have been sent out to families. Scholarship applications will be available starting January 28.
Parent Support Sessions for 2019-20 Scholarship Application are available to guide parents through the application process. All sessions are open to families from every parish and school. An RSVP is not required to attend and each session will be held from 3:30-6:30 PM.
