Newsletter - Week of November 3 - 7

A Moment for Mission

November 2 was "the most remarkable date in the history of the Ursulines in St. Louis." Three Ursulines and the Ursuline-to-be opened their first school in St. Louis in less than two months after they arrived from Austria and Bavaria. The courage of the Ursuline women who pioneered the effort it took to get to St. Louis, and then to open a school in less than two months after their arrival, is remarkable. We continue to be rooted in faith and growing in joy 177 years later.

A Note from the President

Looking forward to seeing you all at Meet Me on Monroe! The committee of Bear Moms behind this event has been working hard. There will be a full house of really great vendors perfect for your gift giving needs … and your closet ... and jewelry box … as well as jarred honey from our very own hives!

All my best,

Peggy Slater
