Hello -  Thanks to all who joined us for Back-to-School Night. While it’s a little bit different than what happens during the day (!), I hope you got a good feel for your daughters’ UA life. 

More on the transfer of sponsorship from the Sisters to the Ursuline Education Foundation

(UEF)… Does the transfer mean that Ursuline Sisters will no longer be involved in the schools? Thankfully, no!

In its work to assure the schools’ adherence to Catholic teaching and Ursuline charism, the UEF is led by the Sponsors Council. Members of the Council include two Ursuline Sisters as Canonical Stewards along with nine lay people (two of whom are Ursuline St. Louis alumnae), the President/Head of School from each school in the Province (ex officio), and Province leaders. The Province offices are located on our campus, so the community also has many other opportunities to interact with the Sisters, including Freshmen Viaggio Days, Alumnae Induction, masses and feast days. The Central Province has recently identified new leaders, who we will continue to work with on various business matters as well. We will do our best to assure that the Sisters' presence continues to be a strong one!

Grandparents & Special Friends Day

Grandparents and Special Friends are invited to share a memorable morning with your favorite UA Bear on Friday, September 5, 2025. This annual event on the beautiful Ursuline campus will begin with a prayer service followed by a continental breakfast, photo opportunity, and cherished time together. Please register both students and grandparents/special friends who plan to attend to ensure we have an accurate count for the continental breakfast.

Uniform Reminder

Only URSULINE ISSUED sweatshirts, quarter zips, and jackets are allowed to be worn during the school day. URSULINE ISSUED means an item purchased from the Ursuline Academy Bear Den, from an Ursuline Academy Athletics flash store, or from an Ursuline Academy organization or club. Demerits will be issued for non-uniform items.

A Special Guest: Sr. Agnes-Marie from France

We welcome for the month of September a French Ursuline sister, Sr Agnes-Marie Duschesne, who will make her tertianship (7-month Ursuline renewal program) in Rome later in the year. She has asked to visit us and, specifically, Ursuline Academy, to be immersed in the English language and to see how we live and share the Ursuline mission and spirit of St. Angela in the school.  She will be spending time both in and out of the classrooms.  We welcome her with open arms.

Senior Parent Mass

Senior Parents: Please join us for the Senior Parent Mass on Thursday, September 11th in our chapel at 8:00 a.m. A continental breakfast will be served afterwards in the Cafe. Here is the link to RSVP. We hope to see you there!

College Credit Registration

It’s time to register for Fall 2025 and yearlong college credit courses. The deadlines vary based on the college granting the credit. Please note, that parents must confirm all college credit enrollment. An email will be sent from the college with an electronic approval form. Students will not be enrolled without parental approval. Seniors - College Applications 

The link below includes important college application information. The counselors are scheduling individual meetings with seniors to discuss their college goals and application requirements. An email was sent to seniors to sign up for an appointment, parents are welcome to attend this meeting in-person or virtually. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact your daughter's counselor.

The counseling department is offering College Application Workshops to assist seniors with completing their applications. The workshops will be held every Thursday during Activity Period in the counseling office.
