St. Angela Merici-Eighth Counsel

The Board of Trustees had the pleasure last week of learning about the House System from one of the House Captains, Colleen Hoy. She explained that house activities help to build community, ensure that all students have a sense of belonging and create opportunities to develop leadership skills. Several Board members, who are past parents and alumnae, mentioned how nice it was to know about current student activities as they fulfill their roles as ambassadors and advocates for Ursuline. 

Temperatures are coming down a little and the fall decorations are going up, thanks to some   Bear Moms. We’ve had great crowds at the parent events that kick off the year. If you have interest in being involved in other ways, be sure to check out the opportunities HERE.

The financial aid application for the 2027-2028 school year is now open in FACTS Management. The deadline to complete your application is December 31, 2026.

Breast Cancer Awareness Mocknecks Available

Mrs. Vilela’s Women’s Health class is selling pink Breast Cancer Awareness month women’s mocknecks. All proceeds go to Gateway to Hope, an organization that assists women battling breast cancer in the St. Louis area.

Mocknecks cost $45.00, and are available now through this Sunday, September 27, 2026, at 11:55 p.m.

A Global Sisterhood trip visiting Ursuline schools in Ireland, England, and France

This spring, we have the opportunity to take students on an immersion educational trip to visit Ursuline schools March 12-24 of 2027. This is a great educational opportunity to experience our global sisterhood. Here is the application with more information. Applications are due Friday, October 2.

Rosary Making

The month of October is dedicated to the Holy Rosary. Please join us for mother/daughter rosary making. Please note that moms, aunts, or grandmas are invited to join. Submit Your Prayer Intentions

If you have prayer intentions you would like us to pray for, please fill out the “Prayer Request Form” and we will pray for them during Eucharistic Adoration. Also, please feel free to send this to anyone you know within our UA family who may be interested!

College Applications 

The senior class has been busy submitting college applications. 47% of the class has already submitted one or more applications! 



Requesting Transcripts 

After completing a college application, seniors must submit a transcript request through Scoir and sign the orange transcript request form in the Counseling Office. Both steps are required in order for the transcript to be sent.

College Application Workshops

The Counseling Department is offering College Application Workshops to assist seniors with completing their applications. The workshops will be held every Wednesday during Activity Period in the Counseling Office.
