Necky Eskias are single touring kayaks featuring rudders and bow and stern compartments with enough space to accommodate everything you may need to explore the islands off the coast of Maine. At 16 feet long and 25 inches wide this is the boat of choice for several of our Maine Kayak guides. Most of the Eskia's are $800.

Necky Amaruks are tandem touring kayaks. Perfect for a family with younger children who would like to experience island camping, or for couples wishing to paddle together. Necky started with the same design concepts as the Eskia series kayaks, but then added more length and carried the beam towards the ends of the boat to give the kayak more speed and space for two paddlers. This also makes for two hatches large enough to swallow the kitchen sink. At 19 feet long and 18 inches wide this boat makes for a nice stable platform to explore the coast. Amaruks are available for $1100.

Necky Manitou Sport single recreational kayaks are perfectly suited for beginner kayakers, and for those who may spend more time exploring rivers and lakes than the open ocean. A 40" long by 20" inch wide cockpit opening makes it very easy to get into the boat. At 11 feet long the Manitou Sports are very easy to transport, and can also transport your lunch in the hatch on the back. Manitou Sports are available for $400 with a couple at $300.

Necky Manitou II are tandem recreational kayaks perfectly suited for families that would like to explore lakes by their house, or a nearby island. Our most adaptable kayak can accommodate anywhere from one to three paddlers with a unique adjustable rear seat, and an additional kids jump seat that can be added. Under 15 feet long and 28 inches wide the boat is very stable and maneuverable for a tandem, and is made even more maneuverable by a rudder which is controlled from the rear seat. Manitou II are available for $800.
