Winter Outdoor Activities
Once the snow begins to accumulate, we will groom trails at our bigger parks and preserves. Whether you like cross-country skiing, taking the family on a snowshoe hike, or just getting outside to enjoy nature, you'll find plenty of places to play. You don't have to stay indoors just because there is snow on the ground!

Winter Adventure Bingo
This winter, Windham Parks and Recreation wants to encourage you to try some new outdoor activities while you visit our parks and trails! Join us for a community-wide game of Bingo that incorporates activity ideas for all ages and experience levels.

Winter Adventure Bingo will run from January 4 through March 5 to give everyone plenty of time to participate. Bingo cards will be available to download beginning Monday, January 4, or you may pick up a print copy in the Parks and Recreation Office. Anyone who gets a Bingo (5 in a row across, down, or diagonally) will win a prize!

We can't wait to see your photos and hear about all of your
outdoor winter adventures!

Senior Fitness Challenge
Let's face it, as we get older things don't work like they used to. We don't seem as strong as we once were and balance and falling can be a concern. As a way to help, we are introducing a 4-week fitness challenge, targeting a different goal each week. Registration for this FREE program is required in order to receive the packet you will need and for us to keep track of participants' progress. Weekly prizes will be given away to the top scorers for the week.

Monday January 4 - Friday January 29
All who complete the program will be entered in to the
Grand Prize Drawing at the end of the challenge!
Monthly Curbside Pickup Senior Lunch

Registration is required for both options.

Weekly Shopping
Join Windham Parks & Recreation every Thursday morning to go shopping in North Windham. This program is FREE and for seniors who can't drive or get to a store on their own. Due to the limited number of people that can be on the bus at one time, participants are required to call our office and reserve your spot between Monday - Wednesday of that week. The route and the times may vary slightly each week based upon the number of participants that reserve a spot. Picking up from different locations may require a slight wait. Call us at 892-1905 to reserve your spot.
