Meet Board Member Jennica Jones

Hi everyone! I'm Jennica Jones, the Strategy and Innovation Manager for the City of Orem. What does "Strategy and Innovation" actually mean? Think special projects, research, grant writing, diving into data analytics – basically anything that doesn't quite have a home, but needs someone to figure it out. It keeps things interesting, that's for sure! I love working on projects that make a difference for our organization and for the community.

When I'm not at work, I can usually be found chasing after my 5 year old daughter and 2 year old son. With my free time, I love to get outdoors for a hike, go for a run, or curl up with a good book. And, of course, just hanging out with my family is always at the top of my list!

A Bolder Way Forward City Designation

We’re excited to share that there is now an official A Bolder Way Forward Local Government Committee dedicated to engaging towns, cities, and counties across Utah in the vital work of helping women, girls, and families thrive.

Already, North Salt Lake and Midvale City have taken the lead by passing official resolutions to become "A Bolder Way Forward Cities." These communities are setting a powerful example of what local leadership can look like in supporting women, girls, and families.

But this is just the beginning—the committee is hopeful that many more municipalities will join this important movement!

If you believe your city might be interested in becoming part of this transformative effort, please reach out to Mariah Hill at mhill@midvaleut.gov.
