US Congressman Blake Moore

Blake currently serves as the first-ever Utah Republican on the House Ways and Means Committee, where he sits on the Healthcare, Social Security, and Work and Welfare subcommittees. He also serves on the House Budget Committee to push for policies to reverse our national debt crisis and advocate for Utah’s defense community. Blake continues to represent Hill Air Force Base as co-chair of the Armed Forces and Depot caucuses.

Steve Kaminski

CEO National Propane Gas Association

Steve has a chemical engineering degree from Johns Hopkins University and a Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School. Steve spent more than a decade as a corporate, regulatory, and patent attorney, first with a global law firm, then with a Fortune 500 company. He transitioned to association leadership in 2011 and steered two other national associations prior to joining NPGA in 2019.

Neal is the Senior Communications Specialist for the U.S. DOT’s Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration’s (PHMSA) Office of Hazardous Materials Safety. Neal has been working in hazmat transportation for 14 years in a variety of roles for the DOT, from writing Federal rulemakings that would become part of the Hazardous Materials Regulations to developing nationwide training initiatives

Utah State Fire Marshals Office - Conducting a residential or small commercial safety inspection is a critical task for propane professionals. It is a key component of keeping customers comfortable and safe. Keith and Justin will provide training on how to properly preform and document a ‘Gas System’ Check which can be completed on the gas delivery system, including the containers, regulators, and appurtenances. Attendees will receive a printed booklet and Gas System Check and Gas Appliance System Check forms.
