Bay Boat Debuts In Atlantic City

The evolution of Valhalla Boatworks continues as the V-28 Bay makes its highly anticipated debut at the Atlantic City Boat Show, which opens today and runs through Sunday.

The V-28’s tremendous size gives it a huge edge over the competition, beginning with superior ride quality and extensive range. You get more of everything – horsepower and fuel capacity, storage and interior volume, deck space and fishability and room for standard and optional equipment.

With Valhalla quality and style evident from stem to stern, hull No. 1 features white hull sides matched with a Nardo Grey bottom, faux teak toe rail and teak helm pod. She’s outfitted with top-shelf equipment and fishing accessories, including a Minn Kota Instinct trolling motor and two Blade Edition Power-Poles.

With a maximum horsepower capacity of 600, the boat is available with five different engine packages in single or twin configurations from Mercury and Yamaha. Heavy-duty Dometic hydraulic jack plate(s) are standard. A single V10 400-hp Mercury Verado – with Nardo Grey accent panels – powers the first V-28.

Like the existing fleet of V Series center consoles, the V-28 Bay utilizes the patented Stepped-V Ventilated Tunnel running surface from Michael Peters Yacht Design that reduces drag while increasing speed, stability and efficiency. The hull’s integrated engine setback maximizes deck space and increases buoyancy while also optimizing maneuverability and efficiency.

This V-28 also features our signature streamlined helm with a recessed black acrylic dash holding dual 16” Simrad displays. The boat has unmatched fishability, with a 1kW transducer, three live wells (totaling 78 gallons) and Hooker sea chest system and in-deck fish boxes with overboard discharge.

The other half of our new coastal/inshore dynamic duo – the V-29 Hybrid – will make its premiere at the Palm Beach International Boat Show, March 21-24, alongside hull No. 2 of the V-28, which will feature a hardtop and twin 300-hp Mercury Verados.
