May Is Mental Health Awareness Month

Mental health journeys are unique, but the strength found within them is universal. NAMI's campaign this year is “In Every Story, There’s Strength,” which highlights the resilience and diverse experiences that shape mental health journeys within our community. NAMI’s campaign celebrates the power of storytelling to fuel connection, understanding, and hope for those navigating their own mental health path. Each story shared is a testament to the possibility of recovery and the strength that lies within us all.

Visit the SAMHSA website for a social media toolkit to use all month long, and to browse resources and information to support individuals and communities who may need mental health support.

The National Council for Mental Wellbeing has facts about mental health in the US, a Mindful Moments Checklist, and tips for raising awareness and staying informed.
