Botetourt Chamber
Grant Holmes, Executive Director, recently announced that his last day with the Chamber would be November 27.
Danville Pittsylvania County Chamber
The Chamber announced that Donna Ashworth left the Chamber on October 23, after serving in a number of roles for more than 19 years. In her time at the Chamber, Donna provided critical support for her colleagues, developed policies and procedures to maximize organizational efficiency, managed and improved Chamber operations, planned a successful portfolio of events, and most importantly, engaged with and supported members on a daily basis. Donna’s contributions to the Chamber are immeasurable and she will be greatly missed. Greater Augusta Regional Chamber

Highland County Chamber
Wintertide will take place on Saturday, December 5, 2020 in Highland County, Virginia. This year’s event will consist of a drive-through visit with Santa, Winter Vendor Market, local shopping and specials, and holiday displays and lights. 
Lexington Rockbridge Chamber
The Chamber of Commerce serving Lexington, Buena Vista and Rockbridge County hopes to “Keep the Cheer Here” with their upcoming holiday donation drop-off event. Sponsored by Southern Virginia Office Equipment and hosted at The Patton Room by The Georges, the event will take place on Wednesday, December 9th from 8:30 until 11:00 a.m. The public is invited to cheers to the holiday and support our local charities by dropping off unwrapped toys or non-perishable food items as donations for The Salvation Army and Rockbridge Area Relief Association. This will also be an opportunity for new Chamber members, those that joined in 2020, to be recognized by staff and board members.
Loudoun Chamber
The “Loudoun Is Ready” pledge campaign, a collaborative effort among Loudoun Economic Development, Visit Loudoun and the Loudoun Chamber, received a “Gold Rank” award from the International Economic Development Council. The pledge campaign was designed to help businesses reopen safely from the COVID-19 lockdown, providing guidance on CDC and Virginia Health Department safety measures and boosting the confidence of consumers. To date, more than 700 businesses and organizations have taken the pledge, receiving best practice guidance, branded signage, stickers and floor markers, and marketing support to help signal that Loudoun is open and prepared.
Luray-Page County Chamber
The Chamber and Visitors Center has received $20,000 from the Virginia Tourism Corporation’s (VTC) Recovery Marketing Leverage Program (RMLP), designed to help local and regional tourism entities attract more visitors by leveraging limited local marketing dollars through a local match of the state grants funds.
Montgomery County Chamber
The Chamber calls a legislative win in the 2020 Legislative Session with the support of Senator John Edwards in changing the Virginia Code and Conflict of Interest.
