VALLEJO, CA- On December 24, 2024, at approximately 12:56 a.m., the Vallejo Police Department Patrol Division responded to a call for service regarding a shooting inside a building on the 200 block of Broadway Street.
Upon arrival, officers observed an adult male suffering from at least one gunshot wound. Officers immediately rendered medical aid to the male victim until medical personnel arrived. Despite the efforts of medical personnel, the victim succumbed to his injury and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The identity of the deceased male is being withheld pending notification of next of kin by the Solano County Sheriff's Coroner's Office.
The Vallejo Police Department Homicide Detectives have taken over this investigation. The motive and circumstances surrounding the shooting are under investigation at this time.
