VALLEJO, CA- On January 17, 2025, at approximately 2:18 p.m., the Vallejo Police Department Patrol Division responded to a call for service regarding a stabbing near the intersection of Lemon Street and Third Street.
Upon arrival, officers observed an adult male suffering from at least one stab wound. Officers immediately rendered medical aid to the male victim until medical personnel arrived. Emergency Medical Services (EMS) transported the victim to a local hospital for medical attention.
Despite the efforts of the hospital's medical staff, the male succumbed to his injury and passed away at the hospital. The identity of the deceased male is being withheld pending notification of next of kin by the Solano County Sheriff's Coroner's Office.
The Vallejo Police Department's Homicide Detectives have taken over this investigation. The motive and circumstances surrounding the stabbing are under investigation at this time.
