VALLEJO, CA- On November 17, 2024, at approximately 8:55 P.M., the Vallejo Police Department (VPD) Patrol Division responded to reports of an injury collision and gunshots heard in the 100 block of Yorkshire Court.
Upon arrival, officers located a single-vehicle collision involving a black sedan and a light pole. Inside the vehicle, officers discovered two adult male occupants, both suffering from at least one gunshot wound.
Officers immediately rendered medical aid to the victims until paramedics arrived. Despite the life-saving efforts of medical personnel, both males succumbed to their injuries and were pronounced deceased at the scene.
The Vallejo Police Department Detective Division responded and assumed responsibility for the investigation. The motive and circumstances surrounding this shooting remain under active investigation.
The identities of the victims are being withheld pending notification of next of kin by the Solano County Coroner’s Office.
