HOMICIDE INVESTIGATION

VALLEJO, CA- On September 15, 2025, at approximately 3:19 a.m., officers from the Vallejo Police Department (VPD) Patrol Division, along with personnel from the Vallejo Fire Department (VFD), were dispatched to the 100 block of Lincoln Road West regarding a reported traffic collision.


Upon arrival, VPD officers located an adult female pedestrian suffering from significant injuries. VPD officers and emergency medical personnel immediately initiated life-saving measures before transporting the victim to a local hospital, where she was listed in critical condition.


Preliminary reports indicated the incident was a vehicle versus pedestrian collision. However, during the course of the investigation, officers developed information that the victim had been intentionally shoved into the path of the oncoming vehicle.


The Vallejo Police Department Detective Division responded and took over the investigation. The motive and circumstances surrounding this homicide are under investigation at this time.


On September 28, 2025, the medical staff advised the Vallejo Police Department that the victim had succumbed to her injuries while at the hospital.


The identity of the victim is being withheld pending notification of next of kin by the Solano County Sheriff's Coroner's Office.
