VALLEJO, CA- On September 15, 2025, at approximately 6:45 a.m., officers assigned to the Vallejo Police Department (VPD) Patrol Division were dispatched to the 600 block of Ohio Street in response to a report of an unresponsive male inside a parked vehicle.
When they arrived, officers from the Vallejo Police Department and personnel from the Vallejo Fire Department contacted the adult male inside the vehicle who was unresponsive. Paramedics at the scene pronounced the male deceased. During the preliminary investigation, officers determined that the male had sustained at least one gunshot wound while seated inside the vehicle.
The Vallejo Police Department Detective Division responded and took over the investigation. The motive and circumstances surrounding the shooting are under investigation at this time.
The identity of the victim is being withheld pending notification of next of kin by the Solano County Sheriff's Coroner's Office.
