VAM 2024 invites our museum community to add your experiences, challenges, successes, failures, and more to the discussion on the value and means by which we build community inside and outside of our walls. We look forward to these discussions with you all in Virginia Beach!

VAM is looking for volunteers to help plan and coordinate the Silent Auction for the 2024 VAM Annual Conference!
The Silent Auction Task Force is responsible for planning the silent auction, soliciting donations, and coordinating the Silent Auction at the annual conference with VAM staff.
Time commitment is moderate with virtual meetings from October to January, one in-person meeting in February, and at the 2024 Annual Conference at Virginia Beach. Attendance to the annual conference is encouraged and members would qualify for the committee rate.

Thank you to the Mariners' Museum for sharing their #summercamp pics with us! Here are a few photos from The Mariners' Museum and Park's Summer Membership Swap with The Virginia Zoo in July.
Together, they engaged over 500 Member families. Each of their members enjoyed visiting both The Mariners' and The Zoo, and gained new followers. Both shared educational resources with the Hampton Roads community and beyond.
