We are very excited to share that Victim Assistance Program has been awarded a Top Workplaces 2020 honor by The Plain Dealer!
How are organizations chosen?
The list of organizations is based solely on employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey administered by employee engagement technology partner
Energage
, LLC. The anonymous survey uniquely measures 15 drivers of engaged cultures that are critical to the success of any organization: including alignment, execution, and connection, just to name a few.
The award is a great tribute to the entire staff of Victim Assistance Program. “We couldn’t do this alone,” said Leanne Graham, President & CEO. “It really takes our staff – who are supportive of one another, caring of one another – and have the same passion about the work that we do, both in direct service and administration. Thank you, staff, for giving us this award. It is all about you!”
Our employees do incredible work in Summit County. The team provides 24-hour crisis intervention to both individuals and groups and responds on-scene to help alleviate victims' emotional concerns and questions. Advocates educate and empower victims through the Summit County justice system and provide victims with resources to help with their physical, emotional, and financial well-being. In addition, through the Summit Victim Assistance Academy, VAP’s expert training team provides best practice education to the community and to the professionals who serve victims of crime and trauma throughout the state of Ohio.
We are excited and honored by this award and are so appreciative of the employees who made this possible!
