It has come to our attention that many palm trees throughout the community still have wooden stakes and braces on them. In addition, there are also palms that were staked due to hurricane Ian. These stakes and braces are ONLY required for one year from installation.
What this means is that they need to be removed to promote the health of the palm tree. As many have been on for over one year. If left on they will cause permanent damage to the tree, which could result in it dying.
Homeowners can remove these themselves if they choose but can also contract directly with Top Cut at 239-949-0653 to have them removed. The cost would be $20 per tree.
Note: With regards to the newer homes, you must leave these on for a year from installation. If you are not sure Top Cut can advise.
