This memo is a reminder of the Department of Veterans Affairs recent requirement for all QTC providers to complete any NEW mandatory training in the VA's new learning management system called VBA MDE TRAIN.
Important: QTC has already provided the VA with a roster of our active providers, thus your VBA MDE TRAIN account has already been created and is currently associated with your email on file with QTC. Please DO NOT create a new account under a different email.
This memo also serves to notify you of the VA's new training course titled: VBA MDE Assessing Deployment Related Environmental Exposures which is currently available in TRAIN. A direct link to the course in TRAIN has been provided below. Please note this course is required by all providers regardless of specialty.
If you have not already completed the actions from our October 2021 notification, please complete the following steps:

Check your inbox for an email from the Public Health Foundation (PHF) with subject line: An account on https://www.train.org has been created on your behalf. The email serves to notify you that your TRAIN account has been created and will require your action. As this new training platform is designed to be utilized by multiple vendors, please keep in mind that the email communication will not reference QTC specifically, nor will it mention VA/VBA/MDE program. This system and training content will be managed solely by the Public Health Foundation (PHF). The email notification would have come from DO-NOT-REPLY@train.org and will look similar to the one below.

If you have not received an email from the PHF and would like to complete the new Environmental Exposures course in TRAIN, please click the link to the course below. Again, please DO NOT create a new account, as previously mentioned you already have a TRAIN account. Please utilize the the Forgot Login Name/Password feature to retrieve your login info or contact training@phf.org.
