The Attorney General's Office is seeking to contract for the provision of a training on the subject of conflicts of interest to staff of Court Diversion programs. CLICK HERE for the requirements.

National Trial Competition
Judges are needed once again for the Regional Rounds of the National Trial Competition. The Competition, which the ACTL co-sponsors with the Texas Young Lawyers Association, is among the most important and high profile College projects. This year, 28 teams representing 14 law schools ( including at least one school from each New England state) will square off for the right to represent our Region in the national finals in Austin Texas in March, 2019. The host school this year is the University of Maine Law School located in Portland. We will need more than 150 judges to watch and score the 48 trials that will take place at this year’s Regionals. Here are the particulars:
Round 1: Thursday, Feb. 7, 2019 4:45-9PM
Round 2: Friday, Feb. 8, 2019 4:45-9PM
Round 3: Sat., Feb. 9, 2019 8:15AM–12:30PM
Semi-Finals: Sat., Feb. 9, 2019 12:15-4:30PM
Finals: Sunday, Feb. 10 (by special invitation)
Location: All trials will be held at the Cumberland County Courthouse, 205 Newbury St., Portland, Me
Basic Skills in VT Practice & Procedure
