STAT OF THE WEEK- 33% is the national average of Veteran families that include children. That means a lot of our Veterans are going to be majorly impacted by this year's return to school amidst COVID pandemic.

SECOND LADY KAREN PENCE HIGHLIGHTS SUICIDE PREVENTION AND VISITS A MILITARY SPOUSE OWNED BUSINESS IN CHARLOTTE, NC- Second Lady Karen Pence visited Charlotte to raise awareness about mental health and veteran suicide prevention efforts underway in the community; and to highlight programs and resources that support entrepreneurship among the military spouse community.
AN EXTRA $600 A WEEK KEPT MANY JOBLESS WORKERS AFLOAT. NOW WHAT WILL THEY DO?- A supplement to unemployment benefits is at an end, and Congress is deadlocked over new aid. For some, that means hunger, evictions or bankruptcies.
ABOUT ONE-THIRD OF DoD SCHOOLS ARE OPENING REMOTELY- Nearly one third of the 159 brick-and-mortar Department of Defense schools will be opening with remote learning over the next couple of weeks, because of the health protection condition at their installation, officials said.
