VETERAN SPOTLIGHT
Our Veteran Spotlight this week is our newest team member, Starr Peña-Johnson. Starr served in the U.S. Air Force for eight years as a nuclear security officer, with duty stations in Wyoming, Delaware, and deployment to Kuwait in support of the War on Terrorism. She received the War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal as well as the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal. As part of a voluntary temporary duty, Starr traveled the world as an expeditionary entertainer with a troupe of airmen, performing for troops and their families CONUS and overseas. Now she is the Community Engagement and Advocacy Manager for VBH!
