VETERAN SURPRISED AS RECIPIENT OF W.A.R BEER PROCEEDS A veteran owned brewery in Kannapolis is giving back to one of their own. For months, W.A.R Beer, that stands for Warriors Always Rise, has been sold at Old Armor Beer Company.

CAREGIVERS OF OLDER VETERANS CAN APPLY FOR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE FROM VA STARTING TODAY After an extra year wait, caregivers of veterans who served during the Vietnam War or earlier can now apply for support benefits for the first time.

UNION OFFICIALS PRAISE PLANS FOR INVESTIGATION INTO ACCUSATIONS OF RACISM AT VETERANS AFFAIRS Officials from the largest federal workers union on Friday hailed news of an upcoming investigation into problems of racism within the Department of Veterans Affairs, saying that attention on the problem is overdue.
