REOPENING SCHOOLS: CMS BOARD OF EDUCATION MODIFIES ORIGINAL SCHOOL PLAN IN FAVOR OF ALL VIRTUAL LEARNING- As the result of rising coronavirus numbers and staffing shortages, the Charlotte Mecklenburg School board voted to utilize all virtual learning for the upcoming school year.

REPRIEVE FOR RENTERS ENDS AS MECKLENBURG COUNTY STARTS EVICTION TRIALS THIS WEEK- For the first time since the pandemic started, Mecklenburg County judges will hear eviction cases.

MORATORIUM ON UTILITY CUT-OFFS EXTENDED IN NORTH CAROLINA- The Utilities Commission in North Carolina has extended an order that prevents utilities from being disconnected if a user cannot pay for the service.
