We have a few save the date reminders for upcoming events that I want to share. On June 21st we will host our first annual Business and Affiliate Expo at EagleVail Pavilion. This event will be a fun networking opportunity with food, raffles, and an excellent chance to meet our affiliate business partners.

We have now set up the Vail Board of REALTORS ® Foundation's Golf Tournament at Sonnenalp Club on September 16th. This event is the Foundation's biggest fundraiser. Make sure to save the date. More information will be available shortly for sponsors and teams.

Last week, I sat in on the Social Media and Ethics class we hosted. I want to share one important take away when you are posting your listing to social media. Make sure that you have your full company name on all the information you are sharing as this is Colorado state law. The one-click rule states that when using social media, disclosure of the firm’s licensed name should be prominently displayed, easily understood, and be no more than one click away from the viewable page. Multimedia advertising (e.g. web-based, executable e-mail attachments, etc.) and banner ads should disclose the firm’s and the broker’s or managing broker’s licensed name and/or should link to a web page that has full disclosure that is a single click away from the view able page.

Can you spot the violations in the images below…?
