Last year the VBR Foundation purchased the Habitat for Humanity Playhouse and donated it to Betty Ford Alpine Gardens. Friday was the official opening of Betty’s Market, which will be used for kids to learn about the origin of food and will illustrate a farmer’s market setting for children. We are so proud to be part of this fantastic exhibit in our community. Pictures are below in the newsletter.
Hope everyone has a safe and Happy 4th of July!

Betty's Market ribbon cutting
Friday was the launch of the new "Betty's Market," a farmer's market at Betty Ford Alpine Gardens in Vail. The market is a play tool to help reveal the origin of food to kids.
The market was one of eight playhouses auctioned off for charity at the 2018 Playhouse Project in Avon, and it was built by a volunteer team to benefit
Habitat for Humanity Vail Valley
. It was purchased at auction by the Vail Board of Realtors Foundation, who in turn donated it to
Betty Ford Alpine Gardens
.
