We have an MLS update to share with everyone this week. A new required field has was added into the MLS called “Short Term Rental Perm,” which stands for short-term rentals permitted. The field requires you to mark “Yes or No." It was added to help you know if the property can be used for short-term rentals. Each area in Eagle County has different requirements, so make sure to keep up to date with this.
I have a correction from last week’s newsletter. The dues increase for next year will total $708 which reflects the $40 increase of both NAR & CAR.
Lastly a reminder to everyone that if you are looking for room rental our classroom and boardroom are available for rent. Please contact
Jen Beckley
if you would like more information.

“Did the Seller Receive My Buyer’s Offer?”
In this edition, Scott Peterson, CAR’s Legal Counsel, addresses an increasingly common Legal Hotline question: A buyer’s REALTOR
®
prepared and delivered an offer, on behalf of their buyer, to a seller. Unfortunately (for the buyer), the offer was only one of multiple offers that the seller received, and the buyer’s offer was not accepted. Moreover, the buyer’s offer was either allowed to expire without a response, or it was simply responded to with a short email from the listing REALTOR
®
saying “the Seller decided to accept an alternative offer…”
