Please join us this week on  Thursday, June 13th  for a ribbon cutting ceremony for the Town of Avon's Benches art exhibit. The kick off event will take place around 5:30pm at the Main Street Mall path. Over the next five weeks the Town of Avon is hosting the  Benches  public art exhibit that incorporate local artists with local nonprofits to produce artistic benches to be on display as an amenity to guests during the busy summer season. The VBR Foundation is excited to be part of this event and will have a bench to represent our members giving back to the community.

To promote our members to stop and see our bench we will be having a social media contest. Remember take a picture next to our bench over the next five weeks. Please click here for full details. Members that participate will be entered into a drawing to win a $100 Visa gift card and receive a “Stamp Me” punch!

A special thank you to the Shaeffer & Hyde Construction for volunteering time to build our bench.

Can’t wait to see the pictures over the next five weeks!

CAM program update:
Bill vetoed
From a recent memo from Richard Del Valle of the Department of Regulatory Agencies:

"The Community Association Manager (CAM) Program bill did not get approved. It was vetoed by the Governor on May 31, 2019, so the program is ending on June 30, 2019. We are shutting down all licensing requirements and fees and not accepting any new applications for the program, effective immediately.

Therefore, there will be no licensing for this group, and as such no need for any continuing education courses. We will not be accepting any future CAM CE course submissions, effective immediately."
